A little of your time.
A world of difference.
Interested in volunteering with farm animals or helping with outdoor projects in North Fort Myers? Introduce yourself to Crystle and ask where your skills could help.

Care for the animals
Ask about helping with day-to-day animal care.
Give the land some love
Bring your interest in gardens, habitats, and outdoor projects.
Build community
Support learning experiences, events, and community visits.
Activities, training, age requirements, and availability are confirmed with the ranch. This is an expression of interest, not a scheduled volunteer shift.
- Prepare your introduction. Tell us what you’d enjoy helping with and when you’re available.
- Send it to Crystle. Review the prepared email and send it from your own email app, or call the ranch.
- Agree on a role. Confirm tasks, age requirements, training, and time commitment before your first visit.
Your email goes to Crystle when you send it. Keep a copy for follow-up; a volunteer role or shift is confirmed directly with the ranch.
Your first day
starts with a plan.
New to animal care? Have a practical or creative skill? Include it in your introduction. Ask Crystle which tasks are currently needed and what preparation they require.
Prepare your introductionWhat will I be doing?
Ask for the actual task, who you’ll work with, and any physical demands. Mention if you’re looking for seated or lower-impact work; the ranch will confirm whether a suitable task is available.
Do I need experience or training?
Tell Crystle what you’ve done before, or that you’re new. Confirm minimum ages, supervision, orientation, and task-specific training before taking part.
How much time can I offer?
Share whether you’re available once, occasionally, or regularly, plus the days and hours that work. Agree on the commitment and arrival time with the ranch.
What happens after I send my email?
Keep your sent message and agree on a role directly with Crystle. Sending an inquiry does not reserve a shift. For a time-sensitive plan, call 239-955-9446 before arranging travel.
Good things happen
when people show up.
From ranch projects to community events, there are many ways to lend a hand.
